Education
Continuing education is vital to growth in this profession.  Each SCPA meeting features a seminar or workshop pertaining to the profession of photography.  Speakers are experienced professionals with programs designed to motivate and educate. Whether you're an aspiring or experienced photographer, you'll learn something new and exciting from each one.  Programs address the topics of:  technique, digital imaging, posing, business & marketing, sales, etc.

Networking Opportunities and Friendship
SCPA is a means for exchanging knowledge, experiences and opinions.  Membership gives you access to the solid knowledge base of your fellow members who are willing to share their secrets to success and are there to support you if the need arises.

Print Judging
Print competition offers an opportunity to see how your work compares against that of your peers in judging, plus the chance to gain honor and recognition for your achievements. At selected meetings, you will be able to have prints either critiqued or actually judged by qualified professional photographers. This is an excellent way to gain valuable insight and suggestions on how to improve your work.

Fellowship Program
The SCPA Fellowship Program rewards those members who contribute to the association in a variety of ways. This includes but, is not limited to: serving on the Board of Directors, attending regular meetings as well as state and national conventions, contributing to the monthly newsletter, entering print competition, etc.

Newsletter
SCPA Through the Lens contains information on upcoming programs, member recognition, association status reports and articles of interest contributed by members. The newsletter is mailed to members and is also available for viewing online.

Membership Directory & Website Presence
As a member, your contact information will be available online in a searchable database for colleagues and consumers to reach you.  The database will include your email address.
